Using Voices

Modified on Thu, 2 May at 12:28 PM

Voice agents built with Insighto.ai offer simple and premium voice options.

While simple voices provide standard naturalness, premium voices take user interactions to the next level with significantly enhanced naturalness and expressiveness. However, it's important to note that premium voices consume four times the usual credit per usage

Steps to Choose a Voice for Your AI Voice Agent:

  1. Go to the Assistants tab under “AI Agents” and click on “Add an Assistant.” The Add an Assistant dialog box appears.

     2. Select "phone" as the Assistant type, enter the name, and set prompt instructions.

You can also choose from one of the available prompt templates.

     3. Choose the language (e.g., "English US") and select the desired speaker voice from the drop-down menu. You can also preview the voices by clicking on the preview button.

      4. The “Preview Premium Voices” dialog box appears. Click on the “Play” button to preview the voices. Once selected, click on “Submit” to add an assistant.

These are the steps to choose your preferred voice. Next, you can create a widget (as mentioned in this tutorial) and get started.

Using Voice for an AI Chatbot:

Insighto.ai also lets you use a voice for your chatbot. The steps to set it up are as follows:

  1. Go to the Assistants tab under “AI Agents” and click on “Add an Assistant.” The Add an Assistant dialog box appears. Choose "chat" as the Assistant type and enter the name and prompt instructions.

          2. Click on “Enable Voice” to use voice for your AI chatbot.

       3. Select up to four languages and choose the available speaker voice option. Click on “Submit” to create the assistant.
