Setting up domains is a crucial step in establishing your agency with Insighto.ai. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up three essential domains:

• The App domain: The app domain is where your clients will interact with your agency’s dashboard and services. Insighto.ai uses app.insighto.ai
• The API domain: The API domain handles backend interactions and integrations. Insighto.ai uses api.insighto.ai
• The Chatbot domain: The chatbot domain is where your clients’ end-users will interact with your chatbots. Insighto.ai uses cdn.insighto.ai to deploy its chatbots.

To Set Up the Domains

Detailed Instructions:

App Domain

Choose Your App Domain: Select a domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains) and purchase the domain you want to use for your app.

Configure DNS Settings: 

• Decide the subdomain for your dashboard. For ex: app.your_domain_name.com
• Log in to your domain provider's dashboard.
• Navigate to the DNS management section.
• Add a A record pointing to the IP address given below
• Example:

• Type: A
• Name: app
• Value: 57.151.120.174

Verify Domain in Insighto.ai: Enter your newly configured app domain and initiate the verification process. Once verified, your app domain will be active.

API Domain

Purchase API Domain: If you want to use a subdomain (e.g., api.yourdomain.com), ensure it’s available and configured under your main domain.

Configure DNS Settings:

• Log in to your domain provider’s dashboard.
• Navigate to the DNS management section.
• Add a A record pointing to the IP address given below.
  • Example:
    • Type: A
    • Name: api
    • Value: 57.151.120.174

Verify Domain in Insighto.ai: Enter your newly configured app domain and initiate the verification process. Once verified, your app domain will be active.

Chatbot Domain

Purchase Chatbot Domain: Similar to the API domain, if you’re using a subdomain (e.g., chatbot.yourdomain.com), ensure it’s configured under your main domain.

Configure DNS Settings:

• Log in to your domain provider’s dashboard.
• Navigate to the DNS management section.
• Add a A record pointing to the IP address given below.
• Example:
  • Type: A
  • Name: chatbot
  • Value: 172.174.188.46

Verify Domain in Insighto.ai: Enter your newly configured app domain and initiate the verification process. Once verified, your app domain will be active.
