GDPR Consent Form

Insighto.ai is now taking a major step towards enhanced GDPR compliance. Our chatbot can now be enabled to obtain user consent before initiating any chat interactions. 

This guide will walk you through the steps to create a form specifically designed for obtaining GDPR consent.

Obtaining GDPR Consent through Form

Ensuring GDPR compliance from the very first interaction is crucial. By using an initial form that captures user consent, you protect both your users’ data and your business. Here’s how to set it up:

      1. Go to AI Agents > Forms from the sidebar. Click on Add a Form. 

    2. It’s time to create a GDPR Consent Form. 

Start by adding essential fields such as Name and Email. For GDPR compliance, select the GDPR option from the Type of Field drop-down menu.

   3. Next, input Name, Description, Label, and Privacy Content Link, and click on Add Field. 

Ensure the privacy content link is easily accessible and clearly explains how user data will be handled and protected.

     4. Once you’ve added all the necessary fields, click on Create Form.

Note: Highlight the “Is submission mandatory?” option. Enabling this ensures the form is presented to the user before any conversation begins.

Linking the GDPR Consent Form to Your Assistant

     5. Next, you need to assign the form to the corresponding Assistant. Go to AI Agents > Assistants. If you haven’t created an Assistant yet, click on the Add an Assistant button. 

     6. After creating the Assistant, navigate to the Widgets tab. Click on Add a Widget.

      7. Enter the widget’s name and description. Select the Assistant you created and choose Chat as the Widget Type.  From the Initial Form drop-down list, select the GDPR consent form you just created and click on Submit.

      8. Before deploying, test the form to ensure it functions as expected. Click on the Visit button next to the widget’s name. You should see the form triggered in the chatbot window, allowing you to verify the setup.
