Facebook Messenger Integration

Integrating Facebook Messenger with Insighto.ai allows you to manage and automate customer interactions that take place on Facebook Messenger, directly from your Insighto.ai dashboard. 

When a customer messages you on Messenger, Insighto.ai helps you organize and respond to these messages efficiently. You can set up automated replies, personalize communication, and monitor interactions—all within Insighto.ai. 

This integration ensures personalized customer experiences and efficient communication, ultimately leading to higher customer satisfaction and engagement.

 

Setting Up Messenger 

     1.  To set up Facebook Messenger, go to the Tools section under AI Agents from the sidebar. Click on the Set Up button under Messenger to begin the integration process.


    2. The Setup Your Tool dialog box appears. Click on Start New to initiate the configuration. 

    


      3. You’ll be directed to Facebook. Enter your Facebook account details to continue. 




      4. Next, you will see a list of Facebook Pages. You can choose the Pages that you want Insighto.ai to access. 



       5. Review the permissions and click on Save



        6. Your Facebook account will be connected to Insighto.ai, and you’ll be redirected back to the Insighto.ai dashboard. 



     7. Enter a name for the integration. Once authenticated, you'll see the functions screen. Click on Save to finish the integration process.



Setting Up the Messenger Widget

Creating a Messenger Widget is straightforward. If you're new to this, you must first set up a knowledge base and an Assistant (the brain of your chatbot) before creating a widget.

Once that is complete, you can set up the Messenger Widget by following these steps:


      8. Go to AI Agents from the sidebar and select the Widgets tab. Click on Add a Widget button to create a widget.

      9. Enter the name and description of your widget. Choose the corresponding chat AI Assistant. Choose the Widget Type as Facebook Messenger as shown in the image below.


 


       10. Next, select the FB Messenger configuration name (from Step 7) and the Facebook Page. Click on Submit to complete the setup.
