Plivo Integration

Plivo is a great alternative to Twilio, offering similar features with added benefits. It provides extensive coverage across 65+ countries and 100+ networks, making it a great choice for businesses looking to expand their global communication capabilities. 

By integrating Plivo, you can use phone numbers from India, the US, Australia, and many other countries, significantly broadening the reach of Insighto.ai’s platform. 


Setting Up Your Plivo Account

To get started with Plivo, you need to set up an account. 

  1. Head to Plivo’s website and sign up for a trial account. 

      2. Fill out the required details to request your trial account. After registering, verify your email and phone number to activate your account and gain access to your dashboard.

     3. On the dashboard, you will find an Auth ID and Auth Token


Integrating Plivo with Insighto.ai

Once you have your Auth Token and ID, you can integrate Plivo with Insighto.ai. Follow these steps:

      4. Log in to your Insighto.ai account and navigate to the Tools section. Click on Setup under Plivo to start the integration. 


        5. The Setup Your Tool dialog box appears. Click on Start New to initiate the configuration. 



       6. Enter a name for the integration along with the Auth Token and ID provided by Plivo. Click on Create



      7. Once authenticated, you'll see the functions screen. Click Save to finish the integration process.



Creating a Widget

With Plivo integrated, the final step is to create a widget that utilizes Plivo's capabilities.

Creating a Widget is straightforward. If you're new to this, you must first set up an Assistant (the brain of your AI agent) before creating a widget.

Once that is complete, you can set up the widget by following these steps:

       8. Go to AI Agents from the sidebar and select the Widgets tab. Click on Add a Widget button to create a widget.

        9. Enter the name and description of your widget. Choose the corresponding voice AI Assistant. Choose the Widget Type as Plivo Call as shown in the image below.



       10. Next, select the Plivo configuration name (from Step 6) and the phone number. Click on Submit to complete the setup.
