Web Calling Widget

The web calling widget is a fantastic addition to your website or app, making it easier than ever for users to talk directly with your AI. 

Once the widget is deployed, a microphone button appears on the screen. Users can simply tap on it to instantly connect and talk to your AI agent, whether they have questions, need help, or want to engage with your service. This widget provides a simple, direct way to enhance user experience with voice-based interaction right from their browser or app.

Follow these steps to create, deploy, and customize the widget on your website.

  • Note: This widget is only supported by call assistants.


Creating the Web Calling Widget

Creating a web calling widget is straightforward, but you must first set up an Assistant (the brain of your AI agent) before proceeding.

For this widget, you'll need a call assistant. Follow [Step 2-8 of this guide] [Link] to create an Assistant for your web call widget. Once complete, follow these steps:

  1. Go to AI Agents from the sidebar and select the Widgets tab. Click on Add a Widget button to create a widget.

      2. Enter the name and description of your widget and select the corresponding AI Assistant. Choose the Widget Type as Web Call as shown in the image below.

 

 

Deploying the Widget

After configuring the widget, it's time to deploy and test it on your platform:

    3. Go to the Widgets tab and under the operations column, click on the Get Code & QR button.



     4. Copy the generated code and paste it into the HTML of your website.



    5. Navigate to your webpage where the widget is placed. You should see a microphone button appear on the screen. Tap it to start interacting with your AI agent directly.



Customizing the Widget

Insighto.ai allows you to customize the widget's appearance to better suit your needs.

     6. In the Widgets tab, click on the Customize Widget button under the operations tab as shown in the image below. 


     7. On the Customize Widget screen, you can adjust the Header Name, Logo, and Record button color.



     8. After making your adjustments, click on Submit to save the changes to update the widget’s appearance on your site.


By following these steps, you’ll have your web calling widget up and running, allowing hassle-free communication between your users and your AI. Customize it to fit your brand and enhance user engagement effortlessly.
