Insighto.ai’s Chatbot Tool integrates seamlessly with AI Agents, allowing access to information stored in your knowledge base or other data sources.
Setting Up Call Tool
Navigate to the Tools section under AI Agents in the sidebar. Locate the Chatbot Tool and click on the Set Up button to start the integration process.
When the Setup Your Tool dialog box appears, click on Start New to initiate a new configuration.
Enter a suitable name for the integration and click Create.
Next, select the function for the integration (e.g.Choose the option to fetch information from your data sources or knowledge base.) Click Save.
Linking the Tool to Your AI Assistant
- Next, you need to assign the tool to the corresponding Assistant. Go to AI Agents > Assistants. If you haven’t created an Assistant yet, click on the Add an Assistant button and set up your assistant first else Click on Edit assistant under operations tab as shown below.
- Go to the Tools Section within the assistant settings. Click on Connect Tools and select the Call Tool from the available options and then select the configuration that we set above.
- Select the Tool Configuration (i.e. the name you entered before)
Once you have connected the tool it will show in the list, close the popup and go to prompt section to write the prompt to trigger the chatbot tool.
Trigger the Chatbot Tool
To use the Chatbot tool during a conversation, you can prompt it with:
"Respond to user queries strictly based on the information from the data source linked using the available tool."
After adding these instructions, click on "Save & Exit" to complete the process.
