Integrating Telegram with Insighto.ai allows you to automate and streamline customer interactions directly through the Telegram platform. Follow these step-by-step instructions to set up the integration:

Step 1: Access the Tools Section

Navigate to the Tools section under AI Agents in the sidebar of the Insighto.ai dashboard. Locate Telegram in the list of tools and click on the Set Up button to start the integration process.

Step 2: Initiate Configuration

A dialog box labeled Setup Your Tool will appear. Click on Start New to initiate the configuration process for Telegram.

Step 3: Generate API Token

To connect Telegram with Insighto.ai, you’ll need a unique Telegram Bot API token:

Open the Telegram app on your device.
Search for BotFather (@BotFather) in the app and start a conversation.
Use the command /newbot to create a new bot.
Follow the instructions provided by BotFather:
Enter a name for your bot.
Enter a username (must end with "bot," e.g., MyBot).
BotFather will generate a unique API token for your bot.
Copy the token, as it will be required in the next step.

Step 4: Configure the Integration in Insighto.ai

In the Setup Your Tool dialog box in Insighto.ai, enter: A name for the integration (e.g.,

The API token generated by BotFather. On the Functions screen, note that no pre-built functions are currently available for Telegram. Simply click Save to complete the integration process.
